These trips started as Fathers and Sons trips then evolved into Fathers and Kids because so many girls wanted to join in the fun and is now the Parent and Kids trip because so many woman want to join the fun. Women/girls and men/boys not in the same family will have separate rooms. This is the trip to sign up for if only one parent in a two parent home can come on the trip. (ages 12 and older). Trips include: 1) Daily service by building a home for a homeless family, 2) A Mexican fiesta with traditional Mexican performers and abundant Mexican food.3) Eating at the 2nd best taco stand in Tijuana, and4) Evening activities.
This is a service trip designed for Young Single Adults ages 18-30. Each day will be filled with plentiful Mexican food, lots of hard work and entertainment. We will be staying in our dormitory called "Chispa" which has electricity, internet, beds, bedding, bathrooms, showers and parking.

These trips are designed for young single adults (ages 18-30). We will spend 3 days providing service to an orphanage. Women and men have separate sleeping quarters.
These trips are designed for families (ages 8 and older) and include: 1) Daily service by building a home for a homeless family, 2) A Mexican fiesta with abundant Mexican food. 3) Eating at the 2nd best taco stand in Tijuana, and 4) Evening activities.
On this service trip we be in Tijuana, Mexico. Day 1 (June 24): Meet at meeting spot in San Diego at 7:00 pm and cross the border together. Days 2-4 (June 25-28): Work on projects at an orphanage. Day 5 (June 29): Cross back into the USA by 12:00 pm.
$300 per person. This deposit completes your registration. Once the registration period is over, families will be selected for the trip based on when they completed their registration. If your family is not selected for the trip, you will receive a FULL REFUND. Otherwise, deposits are not refundable.*

Travel costs to and from San Diego are your responsibility. Passports are required for individuals 19 years old and older. Participants 18 years old and younger must have proof of citizenship (copy of birth cert + picture ID e.g. driver's license, school ID where possible).
If you are flying to California, transportation from San Diego Airport will be provided at 5:00pm to our meeting place.
If you drive to San Diego, we have a place for you to park your car securely in San Diego while we are in Mexico.
We will travel together in passenger vans to and from Mexico and while we are in Mexico.
If this service trip is cancelled by Spark of Hope Foundation more than 30 days prior to trip start, you will recieve a full refund of your donation. If this service trip is cancelled by Spark of Hope Foundation 30 days or less from trip start, you will receive the amount of money not yet spent by Spark of Hope Foundation in trip preparation proportional to your family size.
